How I Help Vermont Couples and Families
Couples therapy — for the argument that keeps repeating, the distance that’s crept in, or trust that’s been broken.
Family therapy — for parents and teens, adult children, and families under strain.
Grief counseling — for loss that’s complicated, including a death from addiction or overdose, shaped by my years as a hospice bereavement coordinator.
Families and addiction — for families whose person is still using, in recovery, or has died.
Individual therapy — for the person holding everything together.
Support for Vermont Families Affected by Addiction
In Vermont, most addiction services are built for the person who is using. Support for the family around them is much harder to find.
Before private practice, I was Clinical Director of Sana at Stowe, a residential addiction treatment program. Now I work with the family side: partners, parents, and adult children, whether your person is still using, in recovery, or has died.

My Vermont Roots
I moved to Vermont at 18 to attend Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, and I stayed for fourteen years. Most of my clinical career happened here:
Saint Michael’s College, Colchester — BA in Environmental Studies & History
Howard Center, Burlington — community mental health
BAYADA Hospice, Colchester — Bereavement Program Coordinator
Sana at Stowe — Clinical Director, residential addiction treatment
I know how spread out services are here, how much winter changes what’s realistic, and how hard privacy can be in a town where everyone knows everyone. Telehealth helps with all three: no drive, no waiting room, no running into a neighbor on the way in.

Common Questions
Do you see clients in person in Vermont?
No. All sessions are by secure video, so you can join from anywhere in Vermont or Massachusetts.
Do you take insurance?
No. I’m private pay. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and if your plan has out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill.
Can you help our family after someone comes home from residential treatment?
Yes. Early recovery often unsettles a family as much as the drinking or using did. Family therapy gives everyone a place to work out what changes now.
