Why Choose Out-of-Network Therapy?
Tailored, Personal Care: Without insurance constraints, we design a treatment plan centered entirely around what works best for you—not rigid rules dictated by a third-party company.
Diagnosis on Your Terms: Insurance requires a formal diagnosis on your record to cover sessions. When you pay privately, a diagnosis code only goes to your insurer if you choose to submit superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
More Privacy: Paying privately means no insurer sees your records. If you choose to submit for out-of-network reimbursement, your insurer will receive the diagnosis code needed to process the claim — that's your choice to make.
No Arbitrary Session Limits: Therapy continues for as long as it is clinically helpful for you, without sudden drop-offs in coverage or strict session caps.
Specialized Care & Flexible Formats: You gain full access to specialized approaches, including couples counseling, family therapy, and extended 90-minute sessions—formats that standard insurance plans frequently exclude.
Payment Options
Private Pay: All payments are processed automatically through a secure, encrypted portal immediately following each session.
Sliding Scale: I reserve dedicated reduced-fee slots for clients unable to pay the full rate. Please contact me directly to discuss availability.
Out-of-Network Reimbursement: If you prefer to use your out-of-network insurance benefits, you pay directly at the time of service. To save you time, I partner with Reimbursify, a service that automatically files claims with your insurer on your behalf so you can get reimbursed quickly without handling paperwork or submitting superbills yourself.
